Down2Earth Living Soil is founded on the passion to learn, co-create knowledge and share what we’ve learnt with others, to re-learn and reinforce the value of African knowledge commons. We tailor ours trainings from an Agroecology paradigm, our current workshops are;

  • Regenerating Urban Soils

    Designed for gardeners, activists, and educators working in cities, this course provides hands-on strategies to heal degraded urban soils. Learn composting, bioremediation, and low-cost regenerative techniques to transform neglected land into thriving food-growing spaces.

  • Seed Saving for Food Justice

    A practical and political training on saving, storing, and exchanging seeds to reclaim seed sovereignty. This course connects traditional knowledge with modern methods to empower communities to resist corporate control and build resilient, just food systems.

Garden Consultancy

We design and support living, low-maintenance gardens rooted in regenerative principles. Whether for office spaces, community sites, or private homes, our consultancy offers tailored solutions that improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and reconnect people with nature, turning every space into a thriving, sustainable ecosystem.

Ecological Services

We offer talks, research, and advisory services that center ecological justice in sustainability efforts. From shaping policy to informing urban planning, we bring decolonial and community-rooted perspectives. Our ecological services include post-growth food systems design, climate justice advocacy, and regenerative design thinking, supporting organizations to act in alignment with both people and planet.
